Privacy Policy

Updated October 10, 2026. I Wonder, I Wonder is a children's book series by John Kunz. Website forms are intended for adults aged 18 or older.

What we collect

When an adult submits a form, we collect the adult's name, email address, message, consent choices, and submission time. We use these details to respond to inquiries, manage interest in future stories, review reflections, and maintain subscriptions. Forms do not request children's identifying information or photographs.

Email choices

Marketing consent is explicit and optional except when you choose to join the email club. Contacting us or expressing interest in a personalized story does not automatically subscribe you. To withdraw consent, use the contact form with “Unsubscribe” and the subscribed address. Future marketing messages will include an unsubscribe option. Email delivery is not yet automated.

Family submissions

Submissions remain private until reviewed. Only reflections with express publication permission may appear, as edited anonymous text. Adult names and emails are never displayed with reflections. Please omit children's names, schools, ages, addresses, health details, and other identifying information. We do not accept photo uploads. Any future photo or likeness feature would require a separate guardian permission process before use or publication.

Storage and service providers

Records are stored using the website's hosted database. Hosting and infrastructure providers process information to operate the website. We do not sell personal information. The site uses no advertising trackers of its own; hosting may process technical information and use cookies for security or sign-in.

Retention and your requests

We retain subscriptions while consent remains active and inquiries while needed to address them. You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of publication permission using the contact form. Include “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your request before changing records. If a child has supplied information, a parent or guardian may request its removal.

Updates

We will update this page as website features change.
